Pet Relocation Dubai: FAQs
- How much does it cost to relocate a pet from Dubai?
- It depends on the destination, your pet's size and the service level. Short GCC moves cost far less than long-haul moves to the UK, USA or Australia. Use our cost calculator or WhatsApp us for a fixed quote.
- How early should I start planning?
- As early as possible, ideally 3–4 months ahead, and 4+ months for the UK. Some destinations need a rabies blood test followed by a waiting period that can't be shortened.
- Does my pet need a MOCCAE certificate to leave the UAE?
- Yes. Dogs and cats leaving the UAE need a MOCCAE export health certificate. We apply for it on your behalf.
- Can my pet fly in the cabin from Dubai?
- Most scheduled airlines only allow small pets in the cabin, and some don't allow it at all on certain routes. Our private pet charter flights let pets of any size fly in the cabin with you.
- Can snub-nosed breeds fly from Dubai?
- Many airlines restrict brachycephalic breeds, especially in summer. We'll find a suitable airline and route, or suggest a private charter where your pet stays in the cabin.
- Do you relocate pets from Abu Dhabi and Ras Al Khaimah too?
- Yes. We collect pets from anywhere in the UAE and use DXB, DWC or AUH depending on the route.
- What do I need to bring a pet into Dubai?
- A MOCCAE import permit issued before travel, a microchip, a valid rabies vaccination, a health certificate from the origin country and, for higher-risk countries, a rabies titre test. We handle all of this for you.
